Meet Yolande


Yolande-Clark Jackson is a writer and author of the award-winning children’s book, Rocko's Big Launch. She is also an educator with over twenty years of experience teaching writing to a diverse group of audiences at varied ages and skill levels.  Yolande has been a judge and guest speaker for The LaPlume writing competition, and a presenter for the Mango Writer’s Conference. She holds an MFA in Creative Writing from Converse College and has published her non-fiction writing in Ruminate magazine, Sister’s Newsletter,  and The Fine Line. Her creative writing workshops are designed to use writing to connect people and spark their inner storytellers.

Thoughts In Profile 
The inspiration behind starting this blog came from starting a movement to encourage maturing women to share their thoughts and images of themselves loud and proud.
