A live haiku event on IG

What’s a Haiku?

The haiku is a type of poem that originated in Japan as a way to remark on things found in nature. It is comprised of three lines: two long and one short. The Western haiku uses a 5/7/5 syllable structure. The first and last lines are made up of 5 syllables and the middle line is made up of 7 syllables.

 "Haiku Happy Hour"

Just as a haiku is just three lines, a Haiku Happy Hour is just  30 minutes.  Join the live bi-weekly session on Thursdays nights from 7:30 to 8PM.  Take a creative break to wine down and write a haiku on a weekly theme.

Request to join the live to share.
